A Procedure Text

A procedur text
         A procedure text is designed to describe how something is achieved though a sequence of actions or steps. It explains how people perform different processes in a sequence of steps. This text uses the simple present tense, often imperative sentences. It also usually uses the temporal conjuctions, such as first, second, then, next, finally, etc.

The structure of this text consists of there parts:

1. Goal (or title)
2. Materials (not required for all procedure texts
3. Steps

However, there is a procedural text that only consists of goal and followed by some steps

Example
How to Play Music CDs on the Computer
When you are working with a computer, you can listen to music from CD.
Follow these instructions to play music CDs on the computer.

1. Turn on the computer, put a music CD, with the label side up, in the CD ROM drive. Close the drive.
2. If the CD does not start playing automatatically, click the start menu. Choose programs, then accessories, and then entertainment.
3. Click CD Player.
4. Click the play button on the CD Player window (a singel right-pointing arrow in the top row).
5. Use the pause, stop, skip, to next track, and go back to last track buttons to control what you listen to.
6. Chose edit play list from the disc menu to program a particular sequence of tracks.
7. Minimize the CD Player window if you plan to listen the entire CD while working.

Pertama kali aku mendengarkan khotbah inang pendeta br. Hutabarat pada acara ibadah Minggu.

Dari awal hingga akhir aku sangat menyimak sesuatu hal yang membuat hatiku tersentuh.

Kalimat yang selalu aku ingat dan tidak akan pernah bisa untuk dilupakan.

sebaiknya tingkatkanlah nilai kenyakinan rohanimu supaya lebih tinggi dari masalah/ pergumulan yang engkau hadapi di dlam hidup mu, biarkan Tuhan membentur-bentur dan membentuk engkau karena itu adalah anak-anak Tuhan yang tidak pernah putus asa dan menyerah pada setiap pergumulan hidupnya seperti halnya dengan tanah liat di bentur-bentur dan dibentuk agar menjadi indah pada waktunya. Dari setiap pergumulan jangan pernah mengatakan Tuhan jauh darimu. Justru Tuhan senantiasa baik serta kasihNya Tuhan memberikan maslah agar kita selalu mendekat padaNya karena ada rancangan Tuhan lebih besar kepada kita. Katakanlah berikan aku kekuatan menghadapi pergumulan ini Tuhan biarlah kehendakMu Tuhan yang terjadi dan bukan kehendak ku.
